These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of D Commerce (the "Service"), operated by Dhatas ("D Commerce," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. What the Service is
D Commerce lets merchants create online storefronts, list products, and accept payments through a payment gateway the merchant connects themselves (such as Razorpay). We provide the software and infrastructure; merchants are responsible for the products they sell, the accuracy of their listings, and their relationship with their own customers.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating a merchant or customer account.
- You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
3. Payments
D Commerce does not process or hold funds on a merchant's behalf. Payments are handled directly between a store's customers and the merchant's connected payment provider, under that provider's own terms. Disputes over a specific transaction (refunds, chargebacks, fraud) are between the customer, the merchant, and the payment provider.
4. Merchant responsibilities
Merchants are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and quality of the products and content they list, for complying with consumer protection, tax, and e-commerce regulations that apply to their business, and for how they handle their own customers' data.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to sell illegal goods, infringe intellectual property, commit fraud, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the platform or other tenants' stores.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.
7. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, D Commerce is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including losses related to a merchant's sales, inventory, or payment processing.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
