This policy covers two different things: refunds for a product purchased from a store on D Commerce, and cancellation of a merchant's own D Commerce account.
1. Refunds for a purchase
Each store on D Commerce is run independently by its merchant. Refunds, exchanges, and order cancellations for a specific purchase are handled by that store's merchant, not by D Commerce directly — we don't take custody of payments, so we're not in a position to issue a refund on a merchant's behalf.
If you need a refund for an order, contact the store you purchased from. If a payment was charged but the order shows as failed or was never fulfilled, the store's payment gateway (e.g. Razorpay) can usually confirm the charge status.
2. Merchant account cancellation
A merchant can stop using D Commerce at any time. Disconnecting a payment gateway immediately stops new checkouts on that store; existing order history is retained per our Privacy Policy. To fully close an account and request data deletion, use our contact page.
3. D Commerce fees
Where a platform fee applies to a transaction, it is disclosed to the merchant before checkout is enabled. D Commerce fees on completed, non-disputed transactions are generally non-refundable, since they cover the cost of running the transaction through the platform.
4. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
